    All I can say is that I'm mad at Ruth Lillegraven because she completely burst my bubble The story turns out not as you like it but twists around making you change who you thought murdered all those people The story is exciting and we are involved with everyone as characters and follow them throughout their journ

    This would’ve been a 5 star read for me but I unfortunately had a hard time getting into it and actually had to set to side and try again Once I got into it or the slower paced beginning was finished; I got hooked It had all the elements u crave in a thriller lots of thrills chills and a couple great twists and shocks I think most will enjoy especially if they can get through the beginning I think the writ

    Scandinavian mysteries and thrillers have been a huge hit for many years now so since I haven't read many of them it was definitely time to change this for a thriller freak like me Turns out not only did I love this book for it's truly suspenseful story and excellent writing bravo to the translator I also loved getting the cultur

EVERYTHING IS MINEBY RUTH LILLEGRAVENThis was a psychological thriller that Diane Oatley did a tremendous job translating into English from Norwegian where it was published in 2019 I read it straight through in one sitting it was that interesting The plot was suspenseful and the characterizations were brilliant Clara was a calculating and cunning wife to Henrik who was also the same somewhat in the end They both share two lovable little boys The setting takes place for the most part in Oslo but it also takes place in Western NorwayIn the prologue Clara has gone to see her stepfather on a day of early dismissal from school She tells him that she wants him to take her to the hospital to see her mother She really has a deadly plan for revenge against him and he has been drinking and she has plotted his demise because he beat her younger brother Lars to death She lives with her father whom she is close too and also blames her mother for her brother s death who claimed to be outside doing laundry This happened in 1988 and Clara gets away with it Clara works for the Ministry of Norway in present dayHenrik has a job in the hospital as a doctor One night while he was working a man and wife bring in an unconscious child It is clear to Henrik and the staff that the child has been physically abused when another pediatrician who knew the father growing up was physically abusive then This other female pediatrician is having an affair with Henrik and she keeps a gun in one of her desk drawers The father who beat his son is told that his son is on life support and he asks where the hospital chapel is so he can go and pray He is found dead and a woman and man detective show up Somebody is killing abusive parents but whoThis is a disturbing novel and switches multiple points of view and goes back in forth in time I didn t uite catch on to the explosive ending until I was reading it The reader knows who is killing and it is a very chilling story I am glad that I read it and do warn that it is not for everybody It is uniue and I would only recommend this to those that have the stomach to read about serial killers and child abuse It is a very dark book but I gave it five stars because I was never bored and it kept me glued to the pages However I could not read such dark subject matters everyday Now I am ready for something much lighter This is an international bestsellerPublication Date March 9 2021Thank you to Net Galley Ruth Lillegraven and Diane Oatley and Crossing for providing me with my ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review All opinions are my own EverythingIsMine RuthLillegraven Crossing NetGalley
